Well… you can’t expect anything less when your total beauty of a bride, Eva Alexandridis entrepreneur, visionary, and founder of one of the most sought-after beauty brands, is getting wed to the love of her life and partner in business and life Dr. Yiannis Alexandridis. We were absolutely thrilled to be the ones to capture this power couple’s I do’s a because there’s nothing we love more than two totally in love life connoisseurs, and b, because Anjie Georgakopoulou of Only For You Events was in charge of their wedding design.

Our day with Eva began early at the elegant Four Seasons where we arrived to capture our bride’s preps. An utterly graceful, and perfectly hospitable lady, Eva had already made certain that pretty stems of her blooms arrived on time for us to begin shooting next to her Atelier Invitations papeterie. Wearing a total vision of a Celia Kritharioti gown -the haute designer happens to be a personal friend of the bride, in fact, the pre-wedding event took place at her villa- and a pair of sky-high Francesco Russo silver snakeskin Orsays, Eva was glowing. Aisle ready? Yes, Yiannis was waiting!!!

Floral bodily adornments are not new– cast back over history and you’ll find everyone from Goddess Aphrodite to Mata Hari and recently Beyonce for the cover of Vogue with a band of blooms around their heads. But in Spring 1993 it was John Galliano’s runway show that turned heads, then Dolce & Gabbana in 2003… but what we saw waiting at the entrance of Eva & Giannis’ wedding was simply beyond. Anjie, Studio 7 Flowers, and Defingou Events joined forces for the most stunning creations on the hostesses’ hair!!!! Arrangements Anna Wintour herself would envy… only to be matched by the most floral-escent decor. An aisle overgrowing with fanciful lilac, purple, hot pink, and blush botanicals, wisteria overhanging from the ceilings, an arch the stuff of dreams, and a dessert welcome station Gods would envy.

And a little further up, on the terrace, a sea of centerpieces brimming with the most elaborate and sumptuous flowers, white furnishings, myriads of flickering candles, textured dinnerware, sheens of gold, mirrors, agates, creating the perfect luxe wedding ambiance under a clear marquee. Was it the harpists that played on our heartstrings and lulled us to walk the calligraphed carpet bearing Eva & Giannis’ names so mesmerized? Ah, we do believe it was the entire scene, the laughs, the embraces, the gentle chit-chat, the heads turning as Eva walked in, the smiles and teary beams…. a total dream in its entirety! Will we be sharing more on our social of this spectacular Athens Riviera wedding? Oh yes… all year long!
