As Indian wedding photographers, we’ve seen all kinds of Hindu ceremonies, from traditional to more modern, but Rebecca and Ravi’s Vivaha is by far this year’s fave because of the couple’s incredible style and updated color palette. After getting engaged in Santorini island, where Ravi surprised Rebecca with a private sunset dinner and a one-knee proposal inside a huge candlelit heart, our lovebirds needed to return to Greece and celebrate their marriage with all their beloved families and friends! Stirring far from the traditional Hindu wedding ceremony palette of reds, the elegant duo went of pinks, purples, blues, and everything in between to create an ombre scheme for their special day! Since Indian bridal outfits are not for the faint-hearted, and Greece’s sizzling sun can make it hard for Indian brides to dress, our thoughtful bride went for a dashing powder pink raw silk lehenga with dori & zardozi embroidery in floral motifs paired with two embroidered dupattas, pairing it with green-topped jewelry for contrast.
