Chloe & Callum

It was Tiffany blues, bisque yellows, and poolside glam for this laid-back luxe Mykonos destination wedding

Did you say “Mykonooooos”? Oh, we know many of our couples have been aching to make this cheerful declaration. Since it’s finally happening again this summer, there’s no time better to share some inspiration with you and sweeten the countdown with Chloe and Callum’s effortlessly chic affair. But, of course, it was Tiffany blues, bisque yellows, and poolside reception pretty for this laid-back luxe Mykonos destination wedding, so if you’re lovers of clean, sparkly aqua, perfectly pasty villas, and little luxuries that make Greek island I do’s oh so inviting, head down below to indulge yourselves.

With the talented team of Think Happy Events on board, we knew our couple’s Mykonos vows were bound to be a total success, so when we heard all about their plans to rent a whitewashed, stone-built villa,, above a beautiful beach , we congratulated them on the choice. “We’re all about simple joys in life,” Chloe confided, and getting to know this beautiful soul and her hubby-to-be, we knew exactly what she meant. Good friends, great food, amazingly fun family moments, and sheer joy were priorities for our Mykonos wedding couple. So we jumped on the breezy train with them and off to the island of the winds!

The big day unfolded so beautifully, with everyone getting involved in the bride and groom’s preparations. We’ve always believed that an unhurried bride makes for the best portrait material, and Chloe was ravishing. Her and Callum’s low-pressure wedding vibes meant everyone was to arrive earlier, begin discovering Mykonos as a destination, explore the best the island has to offer, and make themselves at home. That is the luxury of microweddings if you ask us, making time for everything while including those who matter most, and having opportunities enough to really be with your wedding guests.

Chloe and Callum’s ceremony was held at their private villa’s terrace with the sprawling Aegean vistas below their feet. A live guitar player, minimal but significant aisle details and unity words brought happy tears to everyone’s eyes. Callum’s baby blues wept love as he listened to his beloved read her vows, which all turned into cracking laughter and ovation once they were declared husband and wife. After a hefty shower of olive leaf confetti, the blissful newlyweds shared cool drinks by the pool and sat down for dinner.

Chrysoula set the scene with airy blues, glassy accents that mimic the glass-stones found on Mykonian beaches, bisque yellow David Austin roses and delicate stems creating a breezy, loving atmosphere for our couple and their twenty guests, proof that bliss doesn’t always arrive in big numbers, rather the right numbers matter big! What can we say? It was one heartfelt, intentional moment after the next, so if you wonder whether you should have a microwedding planned, go ahead, and you’ll see it’s all so worth it!
