A luxury wedding with gorgeous Grecian-attired ushers, swings hanging from the trees, an aisle adorned with hydrangeas and roses and a breathtaking canopy invested with white orchids
If you have been bitten by the wanderlust bug then Greece is definitely on your wedding radar and Cynthia and Sultan’s Grecian chic wedding in Mykonos is exactly what you need to fuel your dreams!
We happily jetted off to the island of winds to experience a weekend filled with tremendous fun and spectacular beauty with one of our most sophisticated couples to date and we didn’t stop shooting two days in a row. Starting off with a fresh pre-wedding bash in Remezzo we got a serious injection of chic. The amazing team of planners at The 12 Events worked wonders on styling the laid-back sunset lounge with cornflower blue hydrangeas rustic touches, citrus pops, and Edison bulbs while The Troubadours set everyone in party mode with party beats that echoed till early morn.
As the wedding day dawned the tireless bride and groom began their preparations on their private villas and we took some time to shoot their first portraits with friends and family before heading to the ceremony. If there is one thing more important than love itself on a wedding, allow us to say it’s a planner (if you want to know why jump to this post)! The 12 Events brought on true magic for Cynthia and Sultan’s ceremony. Gorgeous Grecian-attired ushers, swings hanging from the trees, an aisle adorned with hydrangeas and roses, a breathtaking canopy invested with white orchids, Kala lilies, stephanotis, ivy and eucalypti, dendrobium and lisianthus were already in place, while the crews were adding the final touches. Soon a cellist took her place and started playing as the first guests arrived on site. After the stirring ceremony and heart-rending speeches, we followed the happy two to the luxurious Prinicipote where tons of gifts awaited us all and one more night of endless celebrations ensued. Could this cake need more icing?
