〝THEIR PASSION FOR THEIR WORK WAS UNBEATABLE〞

〝One of the best decisions we made for our wedding, was to have Sandy and Odysseas as our wedding photographers.

Their passion for their work and dedication to making our wedding photos the best they could possibly be was unbeatable.

So thankful for the beautiful visions they had in mind, as you only have one chance to make these special photos the best and most memorable they can be to capture your day. Not to mention, they are such a lovely couple and so much fun to be around!!!〞

You can take down notes from writers, poets and artists who have celebrated the charm that is Venice through the ages, or consider this destination wedding in Venice collection as your visual blueprint and follow our journey with Nesa and Michael who tied the knot in the city of dreams

The California state motto is “Eureka” which is Greek and means “I’ve found it!”  Turns out this incredible couple from California has something else Greek as well, their wedding photographers! They found each-other, then they found us, and we were so thrilled to be part of their destination wedding journey together in the city of love and canals, Venice!

Nesa and Michael’s destination wedding in Venice, the city that hundreds of writers, poets and artists have celebrated through the ages, was held in the open terrace of the gorgeous Westin Europa and Regina. Perfectly planned by the masterly Ema Giangreco their reception was all about immaculately lavish details that brought forth the crisp elegance of the timeless city. Atelier Invitations created the most chic sets of wedding stationery in classical gold wax seals and calligraphy that perfectly matched the pastel purples, blush pinks and golds comprising the keynote palette. The stunning couple opted for prim garden roses, soft yellow ranuncculi, veronicas and lilacs by superb La Dogaressa thus creating a fairy-tale setting.

We were instantly captivated by Nesa’s beauty and chic stylish choices, from her all-lace mermaid gown perfectly arching down her waist to her Louboutin’s adding a touch of whimzy sparkle to the classical Hollywood gown. This bride knew all about the rules of exceptional styling and went for a totally fresh make-up. Having Lisa Semenzato, a professional makeup artist for film and TV work on her customized wedding hairstyle and make-up brought on Nesa’s natural beauty and made heads turn at her every step.

The couple had their First Look in a fully emotional and intimate atmosphere and then hoped on a gondola to take a tour around the city’s oh so cinematic teal colored canals. Stopping by Piazza San Marco and the famous Palazzo Ducale, former residence of the Doge of Venice, where we shoot their portraits, has been a super-romantic trip back in time and the heart of Venice! We loved every moment we got to spent with the bride and groom in this destination wedding in Venice. In a world of cookie-cutter weddings theirs was definitely a very original one!

Let’s toast Nesa and Michael once more with Veneto’s signature bubbly prosecco! Here’s to a lifetime of romance!!! Chink !

From the

Why we chose Venice

The best moment of the Wedding

We chose to get married in Venice because we thought it was a beautiful and magical place, like no other. Mike had been there before (he went with his family shortly after we met)...and I had lived in Italy for 6 months after college, and just fell in love with it.  While I was there, I never did make it to Venice though, so the wedding was my first time there.  Also, Michael is half Italian and I took an Italian last name, so what better place to kick that new beginning off as Mrs. Neglia…?!

The best moment was seeing each other for the first time (first look) and then also just being on the Grand Terrace, after saying our vows, and looking out at the view, with family and friends by our side…it was an amazing setting that I had pictured in my mind from the beginning, but truly came to be by the BEST team of Ema, Sandy and Odysseas, the florist, the Westin Europa & Regina, etc.  We were so lucky to have our dream come true with the help of these amazing people and team!!!
